In June 2008, Trelleborg acquired the MacDermid printing blanket business.  They now join the Vulcan brand of products in Trelleborg’s portfolio, making Trelleborg a leader in the printing blanket market.

With these new developments, Trelleborg wanted to conduct a research to better understand how their brands are performing in the market. In order to do this, Integron developed a printing blanket survey with questions about different brands of printing blankets and their performance in certain areas. These areas can be durability, quality, innovation and brand reputation.
With the feedback of the survey, Trelleborg can better understand how their brands are performing in the market and make plans on how to make them work best together.  Trelleborg can set additional goals and continue working to improve their products and services. They have better insight in how their customers perceive their different brands, the strengths and weaknesses of the brands and how to act and react around their competitors.
